RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR SHOPPING AT THE SANJE ONLINE BOOKSTORE

The Buyer acknowledges that he/she has read the full text of the Rules and the Terms and Conditions of Participation in the online Bookstore Sanje (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules") and agrees to them. The Rules are subject to change without prior notice, so returning customers are advised to read them before making any purchase.

The order shall be binding on Sanje Publishing House and the purchaser and shall have the character of a contract. The order together with the invoice shall be kept at the Publisher's premises. Upon written request to info@sanje.si or Založba Sanje, Leskoškova cesta 12, 1000 Ljubljana, the Publishing House shall give the Buyer access to the Contract at the premises of the Publishing House.
Založba Sanje shall not be liable for any loss caused by the interruption, modification, removal or unavailability of the electronic trading services in the electronic trading system.

SHOPPING

The Sanje Online Bookstore (hereinafter referred to as the "Bookstore") allows visitors to the website to purchase books, CDs, audio and other products (hereinafter referred to as "Products") from the Sanje Publishing House and other publishers. The Bookstore is updated daily or weekly.

The bookstore's websites are pages accessible under the domain www.international.sanje.si, marked with the bookstore's logo at the top of the page. The ordering process is described in detail below.

DELIVERY

The buyer's share of the packaging and postage costs is €3.99 per item. For orders over €35, packing and postage are free. These conditions apply only to delivery within Slovenia. For deliveries outside Slovenia, we will calculate the actual postage costs according to the Post of Slovenia's price list.
Cash on delivery postage is charged by Post Slovenije independently of Sanje Publishing House. Attention: the offer for free postage is not valid during major promotions such as Book Night and 50% discount!

Sanje Publishing House will normally dispatch the ordered goods within 48 hours of receipt of the order. This time limit starts at 12 noon on the same day of receipt of the order, otherwise on the first working day after receipt of the order.

You can also select and pay for books at the Hiša sanjajočih knjig bookshop (Trubarjeva 29, Ljubljana) from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 7 pm, or at the headquarters of Sanje Publishing House (Leskoškova 12, Ljubljana), every weekday between 9 am and 4 pm.

PAYMENT TERMS

Sanje Publishing House offers the possibility to purchase goods on cash on delivery, by credit card, Paypal and Moneta or, in the case of pre-order campaigns, by advance payment (bank draft). In the near future, we will also offer the possibility to pay in several instalments.

The goods are the property of Sanje Publishing House until the purchase price is paid in full.

PRICES

Prices in the Sanje online bookstore are expressed in euros (EUR). All prices quoted are already inclusive of VAT (9.5% for books and audio editions, 22% for other goods). Sanje Publishing House guarantees your purchase at the prices prevailing at the time of order.
Sanje Publishing House reserves the right to change prices and to make errors in the publication of prices.

RECLAMATION

Sanje Publishing House undertakes to honour all complaints received in writing or by e-mail (narocila@sanje.si) within 15 days of receipt of the goods. For so-called hidden or material defects, the warranty period prescribed by the regulations in force in the Republic of Slovenia shall apply. This is a defect in which the goods do not have the characteristics necessary for their normal use (e.g. mixed pages in a book, blank pages, etc.). In the case of such a defect, the buyer may exercise his rights if he notifies the publishing house within two months of the date on which the defect was discovered. He must describe the defect in detail and give the publisher the opportunity to examine the matter. The publisher shall not be liable for material defects in the goods which become apparent after two years have elapsed since the goods were delivered. A defect in the goods shall be deemed to have existed at the time of delivery if it appears within six months of delivery. If the publisher has not given proper notice, the buyer shall be entitled to have the defect in the goods rectified or to a refund of a proportion of the amount paid in proportion to the defect or to a refund of the amount paid. This right shall expire on the expiry of two years from the date on which the buyer notified the publisher of the material defect.

The goods which are the subject of the complaint shall be returned by the purchaser undamaged and in the same quantity to the publisher's address marked 'complaint'. The goods will be replaced and dispatched no later than seven days from receipt of the consignment. Sanje Publishing House reserves the right to judge the validity of the complaint.

If Sanje Publishing House does not have a replacement copy of the goods in stock, it will refund the purchase price in full to the buyer within 10 days of receipt of the goods.

Sanje Publishing House may withdraw from the execution of the order in cases where the ordered goods are no longer in stock, if the order has not been executed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Sanje Online Bookstore or if it determines the Buyer's inability to pay.

RETURN OF GOODS

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Purchase Contract within 15 days of receipt of the Goods in one of two ways:

to return the goods to the publisher within 15 days of receipt
or by notifying Sanje Publishing House in writing of the withdrawal within 15 days and returning the goods to the Publishing House within 15 days of the date of such notification.

In both cases, the condition is that the goods are returned to the Publisher's address undamaged and in the same condition as received. In the case of audio products, an additional condition applies that the goods (CD) must be returned in their original, unopened cellophane sleeve. If these conditions are met, Publishing House Sanje will refund the full purchase price, including postage costs, to the purchaser.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The purchaser or registered user of the Sanje Publishing House website authorises Sanje Publishing House to establish, maintain, manage and administer the personal data obtained. Sanje Publishing House undertakes to handle the customer's data in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 59/99, 57/01) and to use all data exclusively for its own records and not to pass them on to any third party under any circumstances.

OTHER PROVISIONS

The buyer has all rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

All the terms and conditions set out herein are binding on the Buyer and Sanje Publishing House. Any disputes shall be settled amicably between the parties. In the event that no agreement can be reached, the dispute will be resolved by the competent court in Ljubljana.

PRIVACY POLICY

What data do we collect?

Založba Sanje d.o.o. collects the following personal data for the purposes of its business: name and surname, address and place of residence, e-mail address, contact telephone number, password in encrypted form and other data that users enter in the forms on the websitewww.international.sanje.si. Sanje Publishing House is not responsible for the accuracy of the information entered by the User. To ensure security and verifiability, the IP addresses from which users access the website are also collected. A session cookie is assigned to each user at the start of their visit to identify and track their shopping basket. Založba Sanje d.o.o. may also store other cookies on the user's computer, such as the user's identification number in encrypted form (to identify the user on the next visit) and Google Analytics cookies (analysis of visits to the website). Session cookies are only stored in the server's memory for the duration of the visit and are deleted after one hour of inactivity, while persistent cookies are stored on the visitor's computer for 2 years, after which they become inactive. Please check the list of cookies used.

Method and purpose of processing of personal data

By using the www.international.sanje.si website, the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions published on this website, as applicable from time to time. On this site, the user can regularly monitor any changes to the general terms and conditions and the rules and, consequently, the manner and purpose of the processing of the personal data collected.

Publishing house Sanje d.o.o., as the data controller, may use the data in an anonymised aggregated form for the purposes of statistical analysis. Under no circumstances will Založba Sanje d. o. o. pass on user data to unauthorised persons.
Newsletter subscription:

Users may subscribe to the newsletter, which will inform them about new products offered online and in other outlets, marketing activities and other promotions until their cancellation by Založba Sanje. In order to subscribe to the newsletter, Založba Sanje d.o.o. collects the following data: e-mail address, IP address, and, in the case of a user who is a registered member, name, address, telephone number and date of birth.

After submitting the form with an e-mail address, the user receives a confirmation message at the address provided - by confirming this, he/she is subscribed to the Sanje Publishing House newsletter until cancellation (so-called opt-in approval). At any time, he may request in writing or by clicking the unsubscribe button in the newsletter that the personal data controller permanently or temporarily ceases to use his personal data for direct marketing purposes. The request will be complied with within 15 days from the date of receipt of the request, as prescribed by law. The user may also request the data to be transferred or made available to him/her. The data controller, Založba Sanje d. o. o., undertakes to protect the data carefully in accordance with the legislation on the protection of personal data (ZVOP-1-UPB1), which regulates the protection of personal data. The e-newsletter is sent by Založba Sanje d. o. o. via the Squalomail web application.

Processing of data for the purpose of sending newsletters:

What data are collected?:In addition to the data in the input field, the IP address of the computer from which you logged in will be recorded, and the time of opening the messages sent and the time of clicking on the links in the messages will also be collected.
What is the purpose of the collection? We collect data on open times and click times for the purpose of identifying your activity so that we can ensure that your data is deleted appropriately in the event of your inactivity.
How long will we keep your data: if you read our newsletter, we will keep your data until you request deletion or until you unsubscribe + 1 year. If you do not read our newsletter, we will delete your data 1 year after the last time you read it.
Where you can withdraw your consent and request deletion, removal or amendment.

User registration:

You can log in to www.international.sanje.si as a registered user. The content of the online shop is also accessible to anonymous non-registered users (guests). Registered users provide the requested information during the registration process. Each registered user is given a username and a password, which are confidential. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that his/her username and password are used exclusively by him/her or by a person authorised by him/her. Each user is solely responsible for the content he/she enters on the Sanje.si website.
In the event that the user registers, Založba Sanje d. o. o. will use the data entered until cancellation to process the user's order, to prepare more relevant offers and for marketing analyses that will help improve the sales process. The data may also be used for remarketing. Registration makes it easier for the user to keep track of past purchases and shortens the purchase process. Založba Sanje d.o.o. will keep the data until cancellation or withdrawal in accordance with Slovenian legislation. The User may unsubscribe at any time in writing by sending an e-mail to zasebnost@sanje.si or by clicking on the Delete Account button. In the event that the User wishes to cancel the User's account, the e-mail message must contain the following information:the subject of the message should be Cancellation of user account; the content of the order must include the user's first and last name, address and the email address with which the user registered; the message must be sent from the email address with which the user is logged in as a registered member.

Shopping as a guest:

If the user places an order as a guest, Založba Sanje d. o. o. will use the data entered to process the order placed. In accordance with Article 86 of the VAT Act, Založba Sanje d.o.o., as a taxable person, must ensure that invoices relating to supplies of goods or services in the territory of Slovenia are kept for at least 10 years after the end of the year to which the invoices relate, which also means that the information on the invoice is kept. Contact forms and forwarding of e-mails The User may also forward specific questions to Založba Sanje d.o.o. via the contact forms or e-mail addresses published on the website, thereby entrusting the data to the Controller. The e-mail addresses provided on the website are not personal, but business e-mail addresses. Therefore, they are not linked to a single natural person, but the data provided in this way may be processed by different persons - with the aim of solving the user's query quickly and efficiently. By sending an e-mail message via the online form or to the addresses indicated on this website, the user agrees to the general terms and conditions of use of the www.international.sanje.si website.

User rights

The user may at any time request consultation, restriction, erasure, rectification or transfer of the personal data processed by the controller. He or she may also address any questions relating to the protection of personal data on the website www.international.sanje.si to the e-mail address zasebnost@sanje.si.

How we ensure data security

The information provided by the user via the forms on www.international.sanje.si or otherwise (by e-mail, telephone, etc.) is confidential and is treated in accordance with the applicable Slovenian legislation. Sanje d.o.o. uses SSL technology for the transmission of all personal data of the user, which ensures the encryption of all information sent with orders. The payment card data entered by the user in the case of this payment method is transferred in encrypted form from the user's computer directly to the bank's authorisation server. Forwarding of data to authorised partners The data that the user entrusts to the controller are confidential. It will not be passed on to unauthorised third parties. However, personal data may be disclosed to trusted partners or under a legal obligation, in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act. The data may be disclosed:

to subsidiaries for the purpose of processing customer orders linked to each subsidiary;
data processing and IT services companies to ensure the smooth operation of the website and its improvements (server hosting, e-mail marketing, etc.);
marketing agencies for remarketing purposes (in encrypted form)
companies that ensure the smoothness of the purchase process (Paypal, delivery services, etc.)
but only to the extent necessary for the successful execution of the order;
to authorised institutions, if required by law (court, etc.).

All partners who have access to personal data are obliged to treat it with due care in accordance with European law.

On this site, the user can regularly monitor any changes to the general terms and conditions and, consequently, the manner and purpose of the processing of the personal data collected.

By clicking on the icon of each social network (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram) located on the Sanje.si website, the user can easily access the social network profiles of the company Založba Sanje d. o. o. and the posts of other social network profiles with content related to Sanje. Clicking on these buttons-icons allows the social network to quickly offer the user relevant information, depending on the user's online activity.
