    THE LAST SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN brings eleven English translations of poems by the Slovenian poet Dane Zajc, whose poetry, as Chris himself says, already sounded like music when he first read it (in English 'songs', not 'poems', which inspired the album's subtitle) and the words were crying out to have notes and chords written and played to them.


    In addition to the core line-up of Chris Eckman, Žiga Golob and Blaž Celarc, the album also featured members of Hic et Nunc, renowned Polish vocalist Anita Lipnicka, cult American rocker Steve Wynn, Slovenian vocal group Čarnice and the Apollon Chamber Orchestra.
